And so the story goes...
In a far off land the two Elder tribes men came wih swords drawn. Weary with the weight of their quarrelling factions, they finally sat. To meet, high above the land on the cliffs, before the seas.
It was the last step before a long history of difficulty and strife could finally, come to rest.
Arbitra, leader of the Aniole Tribe, spoke first and spoke loudly. He made his demands clear for all his soldiers to hear.
"We will not sleep until you are dead!" His voice rang, piercing the damp and low laying clouds. The valley seemed darker on that day. But, unflinching the two men sat. Staring each other down.
Younme, leader of the Allwon Tribe, then spoke. "You all will be slaughtered come morning! Your resistance will only speed your path to hell!"
Clearly, this was going to be a long meeting.
But, as tradition in all the land would have, "No meeting of Tribal Elders shall take place with out the Sipslowa Acknowledgements." A ceremony where leaders of disputing partys must share from the same chalice, a hot bitter concoction that was as common among the lands as the rising Suns, but believed to stimulate the Inner Ethos of The Universal Fear.
So, the two leaders stopped their yelling and stopped their violence to partake in their Duty.
You guessed it. They were drinking coffee. They were drinking coffee when they first sat with each other, when they first came together, and when they first made Peace.
